Finally, I Got My Eligibility Card!

Today, I’m very happy 🙂

My Certificate of Eligibility finally came!

Certificate of Eligibility is one of the requirements that you need to have in order to get a student visa. For your information, I’m coming to Japan this month X) Therefore, I need to get a student visa. Student visa will be valid for one year. More than that, you need to go to your embassy to extend it.

I will be living in Japan from April 10th. I take a one year language course at Arc Academy Shibuya. I will keep updating all things regarding my life and also the language school that I take in Japan. So, don’t forget to check it out, guys!

  1. Good luck with the studies, and enjoy Japan. Although I only had a 4-week holiday there I found the whole country fascinating, total culture shock. One thing to remember, it rains a lot in Japan and those earthquakes ……………… Not always for the faint-hearted.

  2. How many months before you are able to get your Certificate of Eligibility(CoE)?? Are there any chances that an applicant may be revoked?

    1. Hi Jade. I don’t really remember, but at that time I was getting helped by my language course institute in my country before I went to Japan. If I’m not mistaken, it took for about 2 weeks to a month before I finally received my CoE. Once you get it, I don’t think there will be a chance that you may get revoked. Of course you have to enter japan before it expires…

  3. Hi, do you still have the document!? Can you confirm the size of the document in mm. I am asking because I just received my document from a consultant and I just want to cross verify to make sure everything is satisfactory. I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.
